OSHAWA, Ont. – The Ontario Tech women's basketball team faced the Waterloo Warriors this Friday night where they lost 82-50 in their return to the Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre.
Although the Ridgeback fell behind 37-26 after the first half, they remained in the game and fought to come back.
Felicity Villarin (Calgary, Alta.) had 16 points, four rebounds and four assists. Allie Dunnett (Sussex, N.B.) followed with another 16 points.
The Ridgebacks will remain at home to play against Laurier Golden Hawks tomorrow at 4 p.m. This will be their first match up of the season. Laurier currently sits in fifth place in the west division with a 3-13 overall season record.
