LONDON, Ont. – The Ontario Tech Ridgebacks men's basketball team won their 13th game Saturday, defeating the host Western Mustangs 92-80.

It began as a tight game throughout, but ultimately the Ridgebacks defensive plays and offensive success allowed them to pull away and gain the 12-point win.
Zubair Seyed (Chatham, Ontario) contributed to the win as he led the scoring with 22 points and 5 assists, while Caleb Kassa (Brampton, Ont.) had 19 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, and a block. Keon Baker (Pickering, Ont.)  also continued his success on this road-trip with 17 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists.

With the victory, the Ridgebacks are at a season best of 13-4 and currently sit in third place in the OUA east standings.

The Ridgebacks return home Friday, February 2 as they prepare to take on the Waterloo Warriors at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre.
