TORONTO, Ont. – The Ontario Tech women's basketball team opened their four game road trip with a stop at the Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport to face the Toronto Varsity Blues, where they lost 71-54.

The Ridgebacks had another pair of solid performances from Felicity Villarin (Calgary, Alta.) and Allie Dunnett (Sussex, N.B.). Dunnett led Ontario Tech in scoring with 14 points, three rebounds and a block. Villarin stuffed the stat sheet with an incredible 12 points, nine rebounds, eight steals, and six assists in one of her best performances of the year.

The road trip will continue for the Ridgebacks when they make a stop in St. Catherines, Ont. on Saturday, January 20 to face the Brock Badgers. They'll return home to the Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre on Friday, February 2 to face the visiting Waterloo Warriors.
