OSHAWA, Ont. – The Ontario Tech men's basketball record setting season continued on Saturday night, when the Ridgebacks downed the McMaster Marauders 85-72 to reach the 10 win mark for the first time in program history.
The win was marked by an efficient offensive showing for the Ridgebacks' starters, who all reached double-digits in scoring.
Keon Baker (Pickering, Ont.) led the way with 26 points on the night, while
Zubair Seyed (Cambridge, Ont.) had 14 points, five rebounds and four assists.
Ayub Nurhussien (Hamilton, Ont.) had 13 points and four rebounds, and
Levi Ogbonna (Toronto, Ont.) was one asssist shy of a double-double with 14 points and nine assists.
Caleb Kassa (Brampton, Ont.) also continued his growth as a defensive stopper, and chipped in 12 points.
The Ridgebacks will now set out on an extended four game road trip which starts with a stop in Toronto to face the Varsity Blues on Wednesday night at 8 p.m.
