Oshawa, Ont. – The Ontario Tech women's soccer team suffered their second defeat of the season in a 3-0 loss to the nationally ranked Queen's Gaels.

Queen's struck in the opening minutes of the game with a goal from Leda Naihin, who followed it up with a second later in the first half. The Gaels would get an assist from Naihin as well as Seema Sakran found the back of the net midway through the opening half.

The Ridgebacks dug in defensively after half time and held Queen's to just four shots on net, but were unable to break Queen's now four game clean sheet streak.

Ontario Tech will now head out on the road to Nipissing on Sept. 23 where a match up with the Lakers awaits them before returning home on Sept. 28 to face the Varsity Blues.
