The Ontario Tech women's basketball team fell just short of playing spoiler at Laurentian as they fell 64-51 in Sudbury.
 
The Ridgeback's final road trip of the season continued the history of close games between the Voyageurs as the game was a back-and-forth battle through the first three quarters. Nadia Ismaila (Ottawa, Ont.) and Dalyssa Fluergin (Montreal, Que.) 11 points each. Kamelya Brodeur (Laval, Que.) also contributed with 10 points off the bench.
 
Ontario Tech came into the final quarter leading 44-42 but stand out performances from Bailey Tabin who had 17 points and eight rebounds and Emilie Lafond, who had 12 points sealed the game for the Voyageurs.
 
The Ridgebacks last game of the season will happen in Nippising tomorrow night at 6 p.m. as they search for their fourth win of the season.
