OSHAWA, Ont. – The Ontario Tech men's basketball team picked up their first home opener win in the history of the program with a 77-65 win over the Laurentian Voyageurs.
                                                                                             
It was a tight game the whole way with the only double-digit lead coming early in the game when the Voyageurs went up by ten in the first quarter. However, that quarter would with just three points separating the teams.
 
Keon Baker, (Pickering, Ont.) led the team in points with 20, and picked up four rebounds, and three steals. He would also shoot fifty per cent on the evening. Caleb Kassa (Brampton, Ont.) and Zubair Seyed (Cambridge Ont.) both notched 15 points.
 
The Ridgebacks are back in action Sunday at 6 p.m. hosting the Nippissing Lakers.
