Queen's rock Ridgebacks on the road

KINGSTON, Ont. – The Ridgebacks fell in the first game of a home-and-home series with the Queen's Gaels, losing 85-33.

The Ridgebacks held nearly even throughout the first quarter with the Gaels, but Queen's came to life in the second quarter and took over the game. The Ridgebacks were led by Amarachi Achioso (Vaughan, Ont.) who had nine points, three rebounds and two blocks.

The second game of the home-and-home series will take place Saturday night at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre.
