OSHAWA, Ont. – The Ontario Tech women's hockey team are still searching for their first win of the OUA season after falling 2-1 to the Waterloo Warriors on Saturday afternoon.
Nicole Escano (Kingston, Ont.) picked up her third assist of the season in the opening period of the game by finding
Julianne Davidson (Courtice, Ont.) for a her first goal of the season. The Ridgebacks defense looked solid and
Zoe McGee (Kanata, Ont.) stopped 33 shots on the night, but with minutes left in the game, Tatum James found the back of the net, and four minutes into overtime, Paige Rynne sealed the victory with another goal.
The Ridgebacks will get a five day break before heading back out on the road for a Toronto back-to-back starting with the Toronto Varsity Blues on Oct. 26 and the TMU Bold on Oct. 27.
