MONTREAL, Que. – The Ridgebacks opened their road trip with a 5-2 loss to Concordia on Wednesday night.

Sam Gillis (Sydney, N.S.) opened the scoring on the season in the first period, but the a penalty filled night for the Ridgebacks saw Ontario Tech fall behind heading into the second period. Evan White (St. John's, N.L.) was the Ridgeback to find the back of the net late in the third period.

The Ridgebacks will be back in action tomorrow night for the second game of their road trip when they take on the UQTR Patriotes in Trois-Rivìeres, Que.
