OSHAWA, Ont. – The Ridgebacks women's soccer program snapped their three game winless streak by downing Trent 3-0 on Sunday afternoon.

Marlene Siwula (Mississauga, Ont.) opened the scoring in the 27th minute of the first half, and Priscilla Voulgaris (East York, Ont.) picked up a goal, assisted by Emma Dang (Ottawa, Ont.) just before half time. Georgia Hogan (Ottawa, Ont.) came in off the bench and scored a highlight reel goal that bounced off the woodwork and into the net in the second half.

Alicia Chisholm picked up her third clean sheet of the season in net.

The Ridgebacks will now head out on the road when they face the TMU Bold on Oct. 7 before gearing up for a three game stretch against the Carleton Ravens and Ottawa Gee-Gees starting Oct. 14.
