Ridgebacks fall to Badgers in first home game of 2023

The Ontario Tech women's basketball team hosted their first home game of 2023 on Saturday night. They took on the Brock Badgers and suffered a 79-54 loss.

Brock's Madalyn Weinert was the game's top scorer. She finished with 19 points and 11 rebounds.
 
Hadeza Ismaila (Ottawa, Ont.) led the Ridgeback in scoring as she finished with 17 points. Ismaila also recorded three steals and five rebounds in Saturday's loss. Dalyssa Fleurgin (Montreal, Que.) finished with 11 points and five rebounds.
 
The Ridgebacks' next game will be in Ottawa on Jan. 13 against the Carleton Ravens. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m.
