Lancers top Ridgebacks on beach night

The Ontario Tech women's basketball team welcomed the Windsor Lancers to Oshawa for an afternoon matchup. The Ridgebacks were defeated 76-58 on Saturday afternoon.

Former Ridgeback Vanessa Budimunda led the way for the Lancers. She finished with 18 points and nine rebounds.

Hadeza Ismaila (Ottawa, Ont.) finished as the game's top scorer. She finished with 19 points and 11 rebounds.

The Ridgebacks' next game will be at home on Friday, Jan. 21, against the Ottawa Gee-Gees. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m.
