The RMC Paladins walked away with a 5-3 win on Saturday to sweep the men's hockey team in Oshawa.
Ontario Tech trailed 4-1 going into the third, closing the gap to a goal with
James White's (Peterborough, Ont.) 11th of the year with 1:43 to go in regulation. Unfortunately their attempt fell short with the Paladins adding an empty-net goal.
Andrew Suriyuth (Kingston, Ont.) and
Stephen Calisti (Etobicoke, Ont.) scored the other Ridgebacks goals.
Between the pipes
William Desmarais played the first two periods, making 14 saves on 17 shots, while
Leif Hertz made four saves on five shots in the third.
Next weekend the Ridgebacks hit the road to face the Queen's Gaels and Concordia Stingers.
