In a battle of nationally ranked men's soccer teams, the TMU Bold came out on top on Sunday afternoon, 1-0 over the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks.

The No. 6 ranked Ridgebacks had won the first meeting of the year 2-1 in Oshawa, but the No. 10 ranked Bold got revenge on their home turf with Faisal Ghaffur's 58
th minute goal being the difference maker in the match.

Kevon Grant (Oshawa, Ont.) made five saves in the loss, the first of the year for Ontario Tech who entered Sunday with a 5-0-0 record.

Next up, the Ridgebacks return home to host the Laurentian Voyageurs on Saturday, Oct. 1. Dog Day at Vaso's Field will have a special foam paw giveaways.
