Ontario Tech men's soccer picked up a 7-0 victory Sunday afternoon in their home opener, improving to 3-0-0 on the season.
The No. 10 ranked Ridgebacks were paced by
Christopher Campoli (Woodbridge, Ont.) who scored four of his team's goals. With his performance, he's now second in the country in scoring with seven goals in three matches.Â
Scoring their first OUA goals in the match were
Adam Klimek (Oshawa, Ont.) and
Lucas Carvalho (Toronto, Ont.), while
Matthew Perovic (Toronto, Ont.) also added a single tally for the Ridgebacks.Â
In goal,
Matthew Mattila (Pickering, Ont.) played 70 minutes of the match for the clean sheet victory, combining with
Owen Edwards (Richmond Hill, Ont.) for three saves in the match.
Ontario Tech will now face the No. 8 TMU Bold on Thursday night at home. Kick-off is slated for 8:15 p.m.
