Christopher Campoli (Woodbridge, Ont.) opened the scoring in the 63^rd minute of Saturday's preseason opener for Ontario Tech, but ultimately the Ridgebacks ended up with a 1-1 draw against the visiting McGill Redbirds.
 
Pedro Gulli scored in the 83^rd minute to tie the game.
 
Matthew Mattila (Pickering, Ont.) and Owen Edwards (Richmond Hill, Ont.) played in goal for Ontario Tech, while Ludovyck Ciociola and Nicolas Catoir were in goal for the Redbirds.
 
The next match for the Ridgebacks is Saturday at home against the McMaster Marauders. Kick-off is 1:30 p.m.
