OSHAWA, Ont. - Despite a positive outing in their final game of the year, a big fourth quarter by the Nipissing Lakers led to an 84-74 loss for the Ontario Tech men's basketball team.

The Ridgebacks led 64-59 after the quarters, with Nipissing outscoring Ontario Tech 25-10 in the final 10 minutes.

AJ Cummings (Ajax, Ont.) led Ontario Tech with 23 points on 4-for-9 shooting from beyond the arc.

Prior to the game, graduating seniors Ammar Hassan (London, Ont.) and Rahsean Neil-Simpson (Mississauga, Ont.) were recognized for their contributions to the program.

Sunday's Shoot for Change game brought the OUA season to a close for Ontario Tech. The final tally for funds raised for the BAA bursary will be calculated on Monday.
