OSHAWA, Ont. – It was a stellar Friday night for the Ontario Tech men's hockey team taking home a 4-1 win against the RMC Paladins.
Andrew Suriyuth (Kingston, Ont.) started the night with the opening goal for the Ridgebacks.
RMC quickly came back in the second, tying up the game, but it wasn't long until
JC Thivierge (Welland, Ont.) broke the tie, giving the Ridgebacks back their lead.
Captain
Jack Patterson (Bedford, N.S.) turned two into three with only one minute of play left.
Feeling good going into the third with the lead,
Sean Ross (Bracebridge, Ont.) continues to build on it, scoring the fourth and final goal of the game.
In net,
Leif Hertz (Kingston, Ont.) made 28 saves.
The men's meets RMC again next Tuesday in Oshawa.
