The Ontario Tech men's hockey team earned another overtime win on Saturday afternoon, 3-2 over the Nipissing Lakers.
The second period was a game of back and forth with Ridgeback
Tyson McConnell (Pilot Mound, Man.) scoring the game's first goal. Nipissing's Charles Farmer quickly tied up the game. Following Farmer, Ridgeback,
Baxter Anderson (Langley, B.C.) scored his first OUA goal.
Ending the second, Nipissing's Alexander De Gange scored the final goal of the period.
The third period ended the same way it started, tied 2-2.
Andrew Suriyuth (Kingston, Ont.) picked up his third overtime winner of the year, tapping home a
Nolan Ford (Sault Ste. Marie, Ont.) pass.
In net,
William Desmarais (Sherbrooke, Que.) had with 34 saves.
The Ridgebacks are now done until 2023, with their first game of the second half in Kingston against the RMC Paladins on January 6.
