The Ontario Tech women's basketball team suffered their sixth loss of the season as they fell 84-42 to the undefeated Waterloo Warriors on the road.
 
The Ridgebacks tinkered with their line ups throughout the game, and a slow start saw them fall behind early as Vanessa Hughes led all scorers for Waterloo with 18 points.
 
Ontario Tech defensively found their footing in the third quarter as Katherine Onunkwo (Ajax, Ont.) came off the bench to give her best performance of the season with nine points and seven rebounds. Dalyssa Fleurgin (Montreal, Que.) had 14 points and five rebounds.
 
The Ridgebacks will have a quick turnaround as they continue their road trip on Saturday with a stop at Wilfred Laurier at 6 p.m.
