The Ontario Tech men's hockey team suffered a 4-1 loss on Saturday afternoon in Montreal against the McGill Redbirds. 

Justin Svenson (île-des-Chênes, Man.) opened the scoring with a first-period power play goal halfway through the opening 20 minutes. Noah McMullin (Beaver Bank, N.S.) and Cullen McLean (Whitby, Ont.) picked assists on the opening goal.

The Redbirds would score three unanswered before adding an empty net goal late in the third to secure the victory. Ridgebacks' goalies Leif Hertz (Kingston, Ont.) finished the game with 33 saves.

Ontario Tech's next game will be at home on Friday, Dec 2, against the Nipissing Lakers. Puck drop is set for 7 p.m.
