The Ontario Tech women's lacrosse team had their season come to a close on Friday in Toronto.
They opened the day with a 24-5 loss to the defending OUA champion Trent Excalibur.
Caitlyn Cote (Oshawa, Ont.) scored twice to lead the Ridgebacks offence, while
Kendra Orr (Brooklin, Ont.),
Catherine Vinkovic (Oshawa, Ont.) and
Victoria Solti (Bowmanville, Ont.) added single tallies.Â
In the second game of the day, they were topped 20-7 by the Laurier Golden Hawks. Cote again led Ontario Tech's offence with three goals. Solti added a pair, with single goals from
Hannah Bragg (Oshawa, Ont.) and
Ayden Briggs (Oshawa, Ont.).Â
Finishing third in their pool, this eliminated the Ridgebacks from contention for the final day of the championship.
