TORONTO, Ont. - A comeback attempt by the Ontario Tech men's soccer program came up short on Monday night in their first preseason match of 2021.
At the half Ryerson led 1-0. They went ahead 2-0 before
Christopher Jaggarnath (Markham, Ont.) cut the lead in half for the Ridgebacks.
Matthew Mattila (Pickering, Ont.) played the opening half, while
Joshua Naraine (Markham, Ont.) finished the final 45 minutes of the match in goal for Ontario Tech.
Ontario Tech plays their first home exhibition games this week, starting with the annual Campus Cup returning on Wednesday, Sept. 15 against the Durham Lords. Kick-off is slated for 7 p.m. On Saturday they host the Guelph Gryphons at 5 p.m. Both matches are at Vaso's Field
