OSHAWA, Ont. – It was a quiet night in the dog pound for the Ontario Tech women's hockey team.
The first two periods ended without a goal. In the third, York grabbed their first goal, giving them a 1-0 lead.
With less than 40 seconds left, the Lions got their second goal on an empty net, finishing the game 2-0.
Goalie
Zoe McGee (Kanata, Ont.) had a positive night for the Ridgebacks, saving 38 shots during the game. Juliana Thomson made 16 saves in the shutout.
The Ridgebacks will be back on the ice next Friday at home against Queen's.
