OSHAWA, Ont. – The Ontario Tech women's soccer team won their final home game of the season 2-1 on Sunday afternoon against the Trent Excalibur.
Sarah Foster (Oshawa, Ont.) opened the scoring in the game for the Ridgebacks in the 41st minute.
Tatum Pearce (Ottawa, Ont.) scored her first career goal in the 58th minute, increasing the lead to 2-0.
Dora Bardos picked up the lone goal for Trent in the 71st minute, but the Excalibur were unable to complete the comeback.
Olivia Tierney (King City, Ont.) made three saves in the win for the Ridgebacks, while Imogen Bellinger saved four for the Excalibur.
Alicia Chisholm (Woodbridge, Ont.) was substituted into the game for the final 13 minutes, making one save for Ontario Tech.
The Ridgebacks will face the RMC Paladins next Sunday in their last OUA game of the season. Kick-off is scheduled for 12 p.m.
