OSHAWA, Ont. – The Ontario Tech lacrosse team shifts their focus to the OUA championship next weekend after falling in both games of their doubleheader against the Queen's Gaels on Saturday.
The Ridgebacks lost game one 21-4. Ridgebacks
Amanda Di Mascio (Georgetown, Ont.),
Brooke Watson (Courtice, Ont.),
Caitlyn Cote (Oshawa, Ont.) and
Chloe Tapper (Brooklyn, Ont.) each scored once in the first game.
In the second game, Ontario Tech fell 20-3. Watson scored twice for the Ridgebacks, with
Tanner Gustavsen-Walker (Whitby, Ont.) scoring once.
Kelsey Cluett (Whitby, Ont.) was in the net for both games for Ontario Tech.
The Ridgebacks will next play at the OUA championship, hosted by Ontario Tech. Day 1 of the championship will be held at the Oshawa Civic, with Ontario Tech's first game at 10 a.m. against McMaster.
