NORTH YORK, Ont. – The Ontario Tech University women's hockey team may have had a great start on Thursday, but ultimately fell 4-1 to the York Lions.
Grace Donaldson (St. Thomas, Ont.) scored the opening goal of the game just 3:14 into the first period, assisted by
Katona Goosney (Brampton, Ont.).
Christina Chin tied the game late in the first, sending the game into the opening period tied 1-1.
Only Erin Locke scored in the second period at the 16:45 mark, but ultimately that was the game-winning goal. Taylor Davison and Tayler Murphy rounded out the Lions scoring in the third.

Brooke Vial (Port Moody, B.C.) made 38 saves in the loss.
Ontario Tech wraps up their preseason against the Whitby Jr. Wolves at the Campus Ice Centre on Thursday, Oct. 10. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
