OSHAWA, Ont. – The UOIT men's soccer team earned their second straight shutout victory on Saturday afternoon with a 2-0 win over the Trent Excalibur.

"We're excited about the new players who have come in," said head coach
Peyvand Mossavat, who made his return home from the Summer Universiade in Taipei. "We have brought in a number of rookies that have created more quality and more competition. I think it shows in the game as we are playing better football."
