TORONTO, Ont. – The UOIT women's field lacrosse lost a pair of games on Saturday in OUA league play in Toronto.
 
Opening the day against the Trent Excalibur, the Ridgebacks lost 16-1 to Trent.
 
The lone UOIT goal was scored by Elyse Lockhart (Ajax, Ont.).
 
In the second game of the day, UOIT fell 17-2 to the Queen's Gaels.
 
Kristin Lemmon (Whitby, Ont.) and Brianna Nicolas (Ajax, Ont.) scored for the Ridgebacks.
 
The next action for UOIT will be Saturday, Oct. 8 in North York when the face the York Lions and Queen's Gaels.
 
Their regular season wraps up Oct. 15 in Peterborough against Western and McMaster.
