KINGSTON, Ont. – The UOIT women's soccer team won their third straight match on Sunday with a 1-0 victory over the RMC Paladins.
UOIT dominated the match with 19 shots on goal to RMC's one, but the only shot they got past Paladins' keeper Alexandria Hogg was
Tyra Gordon's (Ajax, Ont.) goal in the 21
st minute.
Helen Frampton (Toronto, Ont.) turned aside one shot on goal for her fifth clean sheet of the season.
With games in hand, UOIT (5-2) is now fourth in the OUA east division. The Ridgebacks sit five points back of Ottawa and a point back of Toronto and Laurentian.
Next Saturday the Ridgebacks return home after spending the entire month of September on the road. UOIT will host Ryerson at 1 p.m. at Vaso's Field as part of the UOIT Homecoming celebrations.
