ST. CATHARINES – After a tough weekend of preseason action, the UOIT men's soccer coaching staff have a better idea what players will be ready come opening day.
 
Wrapping up their weekend with a match at Brock on Sunday, their third in three days, the Ridgebacks fell 3-0 to the Badgers in St. Catharines.
 
"We had a lot of missed chances today," said head coach Vaso Vujanovic. "The team was a little tired from three games in three days, but this was a great test for our returning and incoming players. We have one more game to prepare before the regular season, which we will be ready for come Saturday."
 
UOIT's regular season opens Saturday at home against Nipissing. The match will start at 2 p.m.
