OTTAWA, Ont. – Wednesday the UOIT Ridgebacks men's soccer team will face the Carleton Ravens for the second time in as many games, this time with more on the line.

Riding a five-game win streak, UOIT makes their OUA playoff debut against Carleton at 1 p.m. in Ottawa. On Sunday they defeated the Ravens 1-0 on the road to cap off their 6-6-4 regular season, finishing fifth in the OUA East standings, five points ahead of Nipissing. Carleton finished fourth, eight points ahead of the Ridgebacks, with 30.

In their only other meeting of the season, the two teams played to 1-1 draw in Oshawa on Aug. 31. 

All other first round games are being played Wednesday. Nipissing and Queen's play their OUA East first round match at 5:15 p.m. Ryerson and Toronto have the bye for finishing 1-2. 

In the OUA West matches, Laurier and Guelph play at 6 p.m., while Windsor and Western play at 7 p.m. York and McMaster have the bye.
