UOIT to host OUA women's lacrosse action on Saturday

OSHAWA, Ont. – Coming off their first win in program history, the UOIT women's field lacrosse team will have home field advantage this weekend as they will be hosting five OUA games at the Oshawa Civic Fields on Saturday, October 5.

This will mark the second time the Ridgebacks have hosted OUA games.

Five OUA teams will be taking part in the event including the Laurier Golden Hawks, Trent Excalibur, McGill Redmen Queen's Gaels and the hosting UOIT Ridgebacks.

UOIT will match up against the Excalibur at 9:45 a.m. followed by a match against Laurier at 3 p.m.

On Sunday, UOIT will head to the University of Toronto where they will take on the Brock Badgers. Game time at varsity stadium is 4:45 p.m.

The games are in preparation for the OUA championship which is scheduled to take place at Queen's University from November 1-3.
