SUDBURY, Ont. – The Ontario Tech men's basketball team earned their eighth win of the season with a 63-59 over the Laurentian Voyageurs.

The first half saw Laurentian lead by seven, with their offence led by Nginyu Ngala with 18 points. The Ridgebacks came back to end the quarter leading by seven. Keeping their lead, the Ridgebacks tied the second quarter with the Voyageurs. 

Zubair Seyed created offence for the Ridgebacks with a game-high 22 points, along with six rebounds and four assists. Emmanuel Okonkwo and Tombe Pitia provided a solid backout performance with a combined 15 rebounds and 16 points. 

The Ridgebacks will play their last away game of the season tomorrow, February 8, against the Nipissing Lakers before returning home on February 14.
