Fleurgin leads Ridgebacks to win over Toronto

The Ontario Tech women's basketball team hosted the Toronto Varsity Blues and picked up a 66-54 victory on Friday night.

After both teams entered halftime tied at 33, the Ridgebacks pull away in the second half. They outscored the Varsity Blues 33-21 in the final 20 minutes.

Dalyssa Fleurgin (Montreal, Que.) led the way for the Ridgebacks as she finished with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Sara Ensongola Biango (Montreal, Que.) had a strong performance as well, finishing with 11 points and five rebounds.

The Ridgebacks will wrap up the first half of their 2022-23 OUA schedule on Saturday, Dec. 3 at home against the TMU Bold. Tip-off is set for 4 p.m.
